    Canon S30

    Canon S30 and t-piece adapter

For most of my moon photography so far I have used this method using my Canon S30 compact digital camera. It is attached to the eyepiece using a specially designed adapter. Photo's are then taken using eyepiece projection (camera takes a picture of whats seen in the eyepiece).

    Canon EOS 400D

I have more recently used this camera for long exposure deep sky and widefield work. I take off the canon lens, and basically replace it with the telescope as a lens by using an adapter to hold it in to place. Don't ask me what the equivalent AF Canon lens would be! Magnification seems about 40x so you do that math!
