DECEMBER 2006

Back to more exciting times for all. Whether your just a casual sky watcher or avid astronomer, December brings many great sights. Distinctive Orion dominates the Southern sky, Saturn is back residing in Leo and many fantastic deep sky objects to look at like Andromeda, Double Cluster, The Pleiades, Great Orion Nebula. As for myself I hope to start my 2006/2007 imaging of Saturn this month. It's seems a long wait since the last opposition of Saturn. Keep an eye on the Planets section fot the gallery over Christmas!
