My attempt this month to get a better photo of Shadows across the Plato Crater on the Moon have failed. Weather conditions on the 06th were perfect, however Plato was not quite in sunlight. On the 7th I had little spare time and it seemed that Plato was not very close to the sunrise terminator anyway. There's always next month!

As a compromise I captured the "straight wall" on the moon. See the Surface Features section of the moon gallery

I've also captured a stunning new photo of the moon. Due to the sharpness of the image, I've been brave enough to upload the full resolution photo in the gallery.
